1.30 sets of 3.6MW onshore wind turbine hubs

Due to the special structures, complex shapes, and large volumes of wind turbine hubs and nacelles, plus the hubs need to connect the blades and rotor shaft while the nacelle houses critical wind turbine components like the gearbox and generator, the machining risk is very high. Considering the high machining quantities and difficulties in positioning and fixturing the nacelles, our company only used specialized fixtures for the hub and nacelle machining, and finally synchronized machining with Italian PAMA floor boring machines, Wuchang floor boring machines, and Italian Accettai floor boring machines.

2.Wind power flange part
The main shaft bearing flange for the wind turbine generator is a critical part for connecting the generator main shaft and main bearing. It needs to withstand large axial and radial loads, so high physical performance requirements for the material. We chose forged ring material of Q235B, diameter 3600mm. The surface requirements are flatness within 0.2mm, hole cylindricity within 0.1mm, and machined surface roughness Ra3.2.
