The jack-up wind power installation vessel Voltaire (N966), built by Qidong COSCO Marine Engineering for Jan De Nul Group in Europe, is specifically designed for the transportation, lifting and installation of offshore wind turbines, connectors and bases. The ship mainly consists of a more than 3,000 tons of winding pile crane, operating depth of more than 80 meters, payload of about 14,000 tons, can accommodate 110 people. The vessel is equipped with four pile legs to maintain stable working conditions on the sea surface and is equipped with a DP2 system. The product delivered this time is a total of 12 pieces of pile support (gear box) for the ship’s four pile legs, each weighing 90 tons.
The large ship base components weighing up to 90 tons are mainly made of 12mm thick steel plates. The welding requirements are extremely high and need to be done in full accordance with ISO5817-C standards. The main processing procedures are laser cutting, bending, welding and boring.

This batch of material is Q235B/25/30mm carbon steel material, due to the thickness of the material, we choose 2000T bending machine to do steel plate forming.
